The Life and Times of Philip Schofield

Mr. Schofield made his television debut in New Zealand of all places where he presented a program for children entitled Shazam! In the year 1982.  This was not the end of Philip’s work experience in New Zealand because he would also end up working at a radio station based in Auckland.  Although he was only 19 at the time of his first television role in New Zealand, this was definitely the start of quite a career in television for Philip Schofield.  A few years later, in 1985, Schofield decided to return to England where he would become the first continual presenter for the Children’s BBC.  He completed this gig for two years every weekday until September of 1987.  Philip would then move on to a Saturday morning show called Going Live!, which he would stay on for an extended amount of time.  In April of 1993, Philip decided it was time to move on to bigger and better things.  He would finally get his first break in a show aimed towards adults for ITV.  Schofield was lucky enough to star in some of his own shows from 1994 to 1997.  After that, Schofield went back to presenting for the BBC, but not in the same roles as before.  He was now a presenter for specials and the national lottery numbers.  These new gigs would last until 2004.  You can find Mr. Schofield as the co-presenter of the daytime talk show, This Moring, since 2002, and you can also find him as a co-presenter of the BAFTA-nominated show, Dancing on Ice.
